Why does a circulation pump feel very hot during operation?
A circulation pump can feel very hot because heat from the pumped liquid transfers to the pump body, especially in heating or hot water systems. It becomes a concern when high temperature appears together with no flow, unusual noise, burning smell, blocked filters, low pressure, wrong voltage, or frequent tripping.
